Ive been a fan since their debut album Predominance back in 2001. Their last album Cut From Stone , actually made it into my top 10 metal albums of 2007. Now the group is back with their latest effort Attitude which is a bit simpler musically but still as awesome as ever. While the strongest cuts arent quite as strong as Cut From Stone as a whole it may be a more consistent album. For those who arent familiar with the band, they are comprised of former members of Dimmu Borgir, Old Mans Child and Satyricon. The style is basically thrash/power metal that is still heavy but has a commercial appeal to it. Some of their stuff is akin to what you would find on some of the older Testament albums but still with a modern flair to it. Fans of Testament, Nevermore and similar bands I think would really dig it.
