Im still recovering from the flying roundhouse kick straight to the nuts this album gave me. I missed their debut album Behold the Lion back in 2007 so I was pleasantly surprised to hear this album. The best way I would describe their music is if Amon Amarth, Demons and Wizards, and Shadows Fall all had an orgy, then this would be their bastard offspring. The production and musicianship is all top notch. Great riffs, blazin solos, insane drumming and better than average vocals. The only real fault I could find is I wish they had a little bit catchier choruses to help distinguish the songs a little more from each other. Still overall its easily one of the better albums ive heard this year. If you are a fan of this style or any of the above bands then I highly recommend it.
