Favorite Horror Movies of 2008
Just to clarify I had Inside and The Last Winter on last years list cuz I saw them in 07 but they would have definitely made it into my top 10. For 2008 notable movies I did not see yet were Martyrs, The Substitue or Frontiers. Maybe next year they will be on there. My top two were easily my favorite horror movies of the year and I debated with my self which one should be #1 or #2. I like to think of them more as 1A and 1B.
1. Let The Right One In - hauntingly beautiful movie that gets better with each watch
2. rec - underrated flick I dont think a lot of people saw.
3. The Lost - Jack Ketchum adaptions are now 3 for 3 in my book.
4. Poultrygeist - Lloyd Kaufman's masterpiece
5. Shrooms (the more I think about it the more I like it)
6. Funny Games - I can understand the hate but I still enjoyed it.
7. Gutterballs - Awesome 80's style slasher that had me grinning.
8. 100 Feet - a great supernatural ghost movie by Eric the Red
9. Zombie Strippers - zombies + strippers!!!
10. Eden Lake - One of the best survival horror movies ive seen in awhile.
