michael bay

so far we have attacked paul anderson and bryan singer. Now I call out one of the biggest names in hollywood. one of this guys movies gross way more then all the bryan and pauls put together. He is the hack that is michael bay. Im sure everyone who is reading this has seen most of michael's movies. Theres the rock, bad boys 1 and 2, Armageddon, pearl harbour and transformers he is now in production filming transformers 2. Now I will not deny Bay's movies are entertaining. Its a nice way to waste 2 hours.but paying for a bay flick is much like getting a high quality hooker it feels good at first then afterwards you see the money you wasted. You know with a bay film you get big budget explosions and special effects. But does all that eye candy make a movie good if you strip out the million dollar effects what do you have? nothing. Because his movies make so much money studios give him more money each movie to throw away toward his idea of good filming which is blow everything up and people will be happy. Well apparently it is working the bandwagon movie goer loves his films and helps the success. What can we do about this,,, dont pay to see his films you already know how its going to be and what to expect spend your money on something smarter you can still be entertained without explosions.and yes Im mad he butchered one of my favorite childhood cartoons transformers.

to eat out or not to eat

with the economy as it is all of us has felt the effect in some way or another. I am a server and have been for 3 years. The business at my restaurant has went down and tips have dropped to it seems everyone is cutting back. the management keep saying it will get better its just a bad time now. Well the problem is some people should not be eating out. Eating out should a fun time and a luxury. Enjoy yourself have some drinks eat dessert and have fun and of course most importantly tip your server.I dont think people quite understand that servers get paid 2.13-4.00 per hour and the standard tipping rate is 15%. I have people come in on friday nights wait 30 min to be seated then get 4 waters 1 entree each and are very demanding then leave $3.00. Dont waste our time. If you cant afford to eat out why are you there. thats what fast food and pizza hut are for to feed a family cheaply. And guys what is your deal with leaving high tips for hot women do you think that will make them sleep with you, most of them have boyfriends and use your good tips to buy condoms for him. Im not a hot woman but I see it all the time. Bad service hot woman = good tips great service not hot = low or medium tip. there are many choices for your eating out needs heres some tips from me to you. Find a restaurant that you feel has great food for the price you feel is worth it. Find a server or 2 you like and always ask for them. take care of them well and it will come back to you. If you going out makes you short for rent or the gas bill please do not go, buy some ramen noodles. If you insist on not leaving tips or being a asshole every time you come, watch the movie "waiting" dont think what you see in there does not go on its all based on real events. remember everything comes full circle.

bitten by the karaoke bug

A few months ago I went to a bennigans with some coworkers.that night they had karaoke. I had never done it before. I was pretty drunk and with a push from the others I went up and did my first song the doors light my fire. I was nervous at first but once I started it all felt natural. After it was over everyone told me I did great.I figured they were drunk. There were many good singers up that night and I knew I was bad. Well 1month later I went again.many of the same people were there. I did another doors song and people came up afterward saying I rocked. Then the lady hosting the karaoke came up to me and said no one does the doors and for me to do it was awesome and she invited me back.I told myself I would no go again cause I cannot sing and I dont wanna look foolish but I started to miss it and wanted to stand up in front of people again. I had been bitten. I then downloaded some songs online and practiced them. 2 weeks later I went back then followed thethe next week. the same people go every week with newbies always showing up. Its like your part of a new group and builds your confidence.even if you suck and butcher a song they wont tell you but will encourage you. I encourage everyone to find a karaoke place to visitand get bit yourself. I will give you a few pointers to help you not look to much of a fool. 1. stay in your range Im a natural bass so it would stupid of me to attempt judas priest or ac/dc. Find your range and stay in it. 2.Pay attention to the crowd when picking songs, you may wanna play metalicas master of puppets but if you have a more diverse crowd they probably wont go for that and will talk and ignore you during your set. 3. Pick a song that the crowd knows and can join in and help you. Nothing is worse when you are singing and no one is watching you.If your bit and have to go once or twice a week practice the songs and know the words, cause singers who sing without looking at the screen are just better.
