McNair retires!
Its not very often when an athlete retires and it affects me. The only other athlete that I loved that bummed me out when he left was David Robinson. The Admiral was classy and an integral part to two championships of the spurs and to the city of San Antonio. McNair is not a lock for the hall of fame like David was but he was a warrior, a nfl mvp, and a great leader for many years. If not for a magical season by Kurt Warner and the Rams he would have had a Super Bowl ring also. He still has the super bowl record for rushing yards by a quarterback and one of the best performances by an individual in the big game. Unfortunately all the beatings he took has taken a toll on his body and he smartly is ready to retire. Hopefully Vince Young will continue the legacy of great quarterbacks (Moon, Mcnair) by the Titans/Oilers organization for many years to come. You will be missed Mcnair but not forgotten.
