Roger Clemens and steroids
Ill be the first to admit I hate professional baseball. Yeah its cool to play t ball and baseball growing up as a kid but as far as college and professional ball it bores me to tears. Even though Roger is a Texas boy like me, I dont give a damn either way about him. I normally wouldnt write about this stuff but after I saw his 60 minutes interview and this taped conversation I cant take anymore of his lies. Anyone who's convinced that he's completely innocent and is telling the whole truth is an idiot. In his 60 minutes interview you could tell in his eyes and voice he was lying. Even when he was asked if he would do a lie detector test he hesitated and said something about them not being accurate. On this phone conversation with the guy who ratted him out he never asks the guy "why did you lie?" or "why wont you just come out and tell the truth that you lied?". The answer is simple. He knows he did do it and he just tried to be crafty and squirrel his way around it. The whole thing just smells too damn much like tuna, salmon and catfish.

Gotta disagree with you buddy. Not many people talk about the fact Roger couldn't ask him that question because it would be witness tampering. McNamee basically implicated himself and the tactics of Mitchell in the phonecall. The fact the Mitchell report allows hearsay, which isn't allowed in a court of law, makes it total bs. -JD
