Mosh It Up Baby!
Artist: Axxis Album: Doom of Destiny
Besides having a kick ass metal cover this album is actually fun. Its your basic fast classic metal album with the operatic singer but with a new twist. Probably about 70% of the vocals are by a male singer but the other 30% are with a female singer that compliment each other very well. One song is ska influenced and I hear pop punk influences throughtout. Dont get me wrong this is classic metal through and through but with a modern refreshing twist.
Verdict: Check this out if you are a fan of classic metal.

Artist: Fairyland Album: Of Wars In Osyrhia
This is another classic metal album that is different from the norm. The keyboard is prominent throughtout the album with a lot of orchestral parts including harp music. The albums music sounds like a soundtrack to some fantasy movie with the guitars sounding like the average classic metal band. I liked this band in small chunks but it is a lot to digest all taken at once. This is definitely not for everybody even for classic metal fans alike.
Verdict: Definitely worth checking out if you love classic metal.
