Nfl Recap
Cowboys 38
Eagles 17

Tony Romo is proving me wrong. I always thought he was above average but not quite elite status but he keeps on trucking. Eagles have all kinds of problems. They need to ramp up their lines and get some better receivers for McNabb.

Texans 24
Raiders 17
Who cares?

Browns 33
Seahawks 30
The Browns are probably my biggest surprise of the season. Derek Anderson is proving everyone wrong and kicking all kinds of ass. As long as they dont take a wild card berth away from the Titans then I'll support them.

Vikings 35
Chargers 17
Two Nfl records in one game? Peterson is a monster. The most rushing yards ever by a back and he's a rookie? ever! Damn thats just sick. Too bad he's on the Vikings though.

Saints 41
Jags 24
The Saints are back. I had them left for dead after the Titans loss but they have rebounded nicely with 4 straight wins.

Lions 44
Broncos 7
After reading a bio of Jon Kitna he's now my favorite non Titans Nfl player. They will be a force to reckon with in the playoffs. Oh yeah his Halloween costume was pretty hilarious.

Titans 20
Panthers 7
Thank God for two things. 1. The Titans have a monster line and defense. 2. David Carr was the quarterback. Gotta be one of the biggest #1 pick busts ever. I dont think he could beat a college level team.

Packers 33
Chiefs 22
What a huge win for the Packers. That Cowboys/Packers game that will only be on NFL tv is looking huge about now. I think sports bars will be plenty crowded that night.

Steelers 38
Ravens 7
How pitiful is the Ravens offense? I think its about time for Mcnair to hang it up. He's just a shell of his former Nfl mvp self.

Falcons 20
49ers 16
Yawn

Bucs 17
Cardinals 10
What i said about Mcnair is ditto for Warner. But he is on a team that is one of the worst organizations in sports history.

Patriots 24
Colts 20
I had the Colts picked to win and it was so close. I forgot when all else fails throw it up to Randy. If Marvin Harrison would have played I think it would have been a different outcome. There were a lot of critical dropped passes that Marvin would not have dropped. The main thing I got out of this game was that neither team is as great as I thought they were. I could easily see a playoff upset if they play against the right teams.
Ok Raven Im ready to play now.

Here we go - In the words of the great Jimmy Johnson " How 'bout dem cowboys. " That game was fantastically executed by Jason Garrett, Wade Phillips, and Tony Romo. After the 67 million dollar contract was signed Romo decided to continue to play awesome. His passes are very accurate even on the run. Dare I say that his accuracy is almost " Aikmanesque. " Well maybe he's not there yet as Aikman was one of the most accurate QBs in NFL history, but he's pretty damn good...and unlike Aikman he can move in and out of the pocket like he has an invisible force field around him. The Eagle's defensive secondary and defensive game plan was horrible. You're not going to double T.O. ? Really ??? Marion Barber once again ran like a physcho rabid dog - and Julius Jones ran like he's had something to prove...and maybe he did. The Cowboys D-Line is nasty and they have little regard or respect for any opponent's offensive line. They stop the run fairly well ( except for in the middle sometimes. ) Maybe Tank Johnson can shore up the middle, although I have no problem with Jay Ratliff staying in there if Wade decides to go that route because unlike most noseguards, Ratliff gets pressure on the QB. Lest we forget that this is the same defensive line that held " Wonder Boy " Adrian Peterson to a career LOW. It wasn't that Peterson had a bad game that day ( even though he didn't have that many carries ), it was simply that the Cowboys powerful D-LINE and Linebackers simply stop running backs regardless of who they are or what they are supposed to be capable of. Running backs will have to get their rushing yards against other teams...and Adrian Peterson has since then with no problem - and that of course makes Dallas' D-Line and LBs look even better. Onto the cowboys HUGE O-LINE. They impress me more and more every week. The current Giants will be a test like no other next week and Romo will assuredly have to more around more than normal but I am confident in Romo's ability to do just that. BUT Eli will find himself in the same boat with Ware, Canty, Ratliff, Ellis, and maybe Tank on his ass all game. The Dallas secondary is getting a little better but more importantly the defensive secondary game planning is perhaps finally getting a clue. Putting 6 DBs in there to thwart a would be passing attack was very smart. McNabb was looking into double coverage with no clear throwing lanes almost all game. Putting in Anthony Henry to help out and subing in for Jacque Reeves was smart. Reeves can get burned by almost any receiver in the league at any given moment on any given route even though he has gotten a little better. Hamlin was a great addition to our secondary. Roy Williams is still a non factor, I'm just happy now-a-days when he doesn't hurt us. AND JASON WITTEN - HOLY SHIT - # 82 JERSEY SALES JUST WENT UP AFTER THAT PLAY. How many Tight Ends would have went down like a little bitch after that hit ? I say most of them. The giants will be a tough test this week and yeah the packers and Cowboys should make for one hell of a game. I was satisfied with every aspect of the Cowboys win against the eagles. I think that this was a good week for the cowboys to get a total team victory like this. We're going to have to keep this going against the giants to assure a safe victory. Now, a comment about the Colts and pats, I once again saw Chinks in the New England Armour ( Dat Nguyen and his family were on their sideline ) hahahaha. No but seriously - the weak link is their secondary. They can be beat I'm convinced, but it would take a high powered offense of course that played near mistake free. I agree with you that if the Colts would've had Marvin Harrison the Pats may have a loss on their record right now. But man, the pats'offense is something to watch. The Cowboys will have to strap it on ( as they say ) - although that sounds like some gay shit to me - against the giants...and I have to believe they will. Note to Dallas' Secondary - please cover plaxico. Until next week.
