Americana

Thanks to the brilliant program Orb that Ive discovered recently, every month Im gonna spotlight one or two artists and albums that are basically unknown to the masses but deserve recognition for their awesome music. If you click on the orb player in the top right of the web page you can choose to stream through my home pc and hear all the songs on a particular album that I have chosen to share. This week I have chosen one of my favorite emo/chill/original bands that Ive liked for over a decade now in Starflyer 59. They have over 12 full length albums plus several ep's but my all time favorite still remains their third album Americana. This album is a departure from most of their albums and is a little heavier and more melodic than the rest of their stuff. Give them a chance and you just might like it.
