Nfl Recap Week 14
Another exciting weekend in the NFL. How can this not be your favorite sport? I celebrated the Titans winning their division and securing at least a first round bye.

Chargers 34 Raiders 7
Aww poor Chargers. Too little too late.

Bears 23 Jags 10
Wow the Jags ended up being fucking horrible.

Vikings 20 Lions 16
That was probably the lions best chance for a win. At least they will get a good draft pick.

Texans 24 Packers 21
Great performance by Matt Schaub. Too bad he's so brittle.

Titans 28 Browns 9
Hells to the yeah. Browns are a bad team. The Titans real test is coming up the next few weeks. First up is the getting better each week Texans, then the Steelers and then finish up with Indy. They just need to win 2 of the 3 to be guaranteed home field throughout.

Colts 35 Bengals 3
Dammit the Colts are getting scary good again. The last team I want the Titans to play in the playoffs.

Saints 29 Falcons 25
Huge win for the Saints. Every game is a playoff game for them.

Eagles 20 Giants 14
Maybe the Giants are going to miss Plaxico more than they are willing to admit. The Eagles still have a chance if they win out.

Broncos 24 Chiefs 17
Not an impressive victory. Playoffs should be one and done for the Bronocs.

Dolphins 16 Bills 3
The Dolphins are a tough team. Not the most talent but they know how to win. Pennington is doing a great job.

49ers 24 Jets 14
How far have the Jets fallen in just two weeks? They are in a tough battle for the division.

Patriots 24 Seahawks 21
Patriots still know what it takes to win. Lets see if they have enough gas in the tank to make the playoffs

Cardinals 34 Rams 10
An expected win. Lets see if the Cards can do it on the road against a good team.

Steelers 20 Cowboys 13
What a tough loss for the Cowboys. Romo just fell apart in the last quarter. Some bad horrible passes. This loss may come back to haunt them.

Ravens 24 Redskins 10
Ravens are getting better each week. Definitely a darkhorse if they make the playoffs.

Panthers 38 Bucs 23
First win that the Panthers impressed me. Still not sold on them.

A tough loss indeed for the Cowboys. Wow, they had the game sewed up, it was in the fucking bag. Then Romo revisited his old ways. Man, that was a legendary caliber performance by the Dallas defense...until about 7 minutes left in the game that is. The end of the game had me physically sick to my stomach. To lose a game like that...against the fucking Steelers no less. Well that was hard to take. I know that Big Ben hasn't been immune to sacks this season or any other but the Cowboys' D got after his ass in a big way ( even though some of the sacks were coverage sacks ). The Cowboys shut the Steeler's offense down for 3 1/2 quarters. Cowboys' rookie running back Tashard Choice did a great job. At one point in the game, the steelers hadn't seen an offense like ours all season. Then Romo makes his very ill advised throws ( and one with his left hand, that if he would've thrown it with his right would've been an easy 6 to Roy Williams ). Romo made bad, bad, bad decisions, over throwing bitches right and left, not checking down on his reads ( on his last interception that was to go to Witten even though it was very Neil O'Donnell'esque looking...well T.O. was wide open on that play ). Romo is missing wide open receivers because he is neglecting his checkdowns. If a QB has time ( and Romo did have time often in the game ) there is no excuse for that kind of shit. Romo came out after the game and said that he pretty much blew it. Yeah, no shit. Some sports show personalties here in Dallas are giving him credit for admitting that he lost the game. I'm not giving him cred for that, it was fucking obvious that he and he alone was the reason that the Steelers were allowed to get back in it and win the SOB. Giving people credit for admitting the truth is stupid. I personally don't give a damn if he admitted it or not, I just want the stupid decisions to stop period. He is the best we got and I know that with a gunslinger type of QB like Romo there will be some INTs, but that shit was outta control. Big Props to NFL Sack Leader DeMarcus Ware for his 16th sack of the season. He's a beast. Next up is the Giants at TX Stadium. If the defense plays like it did against the Steelers we will at least have a chance and hopefully Romo will go easy on the INTs this week. Then next up is the Ravens...then the Eagles in Philly. Holy Fuck !!! Dallas currently holds the last wildcard spot at the moment and that only holds a smaller glimmer of hope for the playoffs at this point. But stranger things have happened and if they're gonna get hot they better hurry and do it. My needle is currently pegged somewhere between hopeful but realistic. Could the Longhorns beat the Detroit Lions at this point ? and congrats to the Titans in wrapping up the top spot in their division. Great Job !!! Until next week.

Awesome post about the Cowboys. Titans still have a ways to go before home-field advantage throughout. I don't think we'll be able to retain Haynesworth after this year so they need to grab the moment.
