Dead Winter aka Lost Signal Movie Review

Man I love reviewing movies when they are a piece of shit. It just makes it so much easier. This movie was already done earlier this year in a much superior form, in a movie called Shrooms! The stories are eerily similar but Shrooms at least had a slick production, good actors, some tension and a satisfying ending compared to this garbage. Now that Ive already compared it to Shrooms I dont want to give away too much of the plot cuz I really recommend Shrooms if you havent seen it.
The basic plot is about this dude and his g/f in the dead of winter go to a party and they drink and do some drugs. On the way home they get into a wreck and run through the woods while something chases them. They encounter a snowplow that comes to life and some people that refuse to talk or help them. To be honest very little actually goes on at all. There is no tension, no scares and its just plain boring. The big reveal twist at the end is ok but done much better in......lets say it together.."Shrooms!" Dont waste your time on this crap. I dont doubt it will be on the sci fi channel in a few months anyways. Theres really nothing to hang your hat on here. No titties, no gore, no great dialogue, no great music, all great boring. On a scale of 1-10 I give this a LSD trip 2.5 out of 10.
