Im kicking myself for never listening to this band before now. I guess Ive always assumed it was some death metal generic bullshit. This band is far from that. Yeah the vocals are death metal but the music is straight up classic metal with some power/thrash influence. In other words it kicks ass. The choruses are catchy, the leads smoking, and just an all around solid album. If you are a fan of Hammerfall, Iron Maiden, Iced Earth or other similar types of music then I highly suggest checking it out. Just beware that it has death growling vocals. Now it looks like I'll be making my way back through their back catalog. On a scale of 1-10 I give this a 8.8 out of 10.
