Nfl Recap Week 9
Another wild weekend of football. Even though my team benefitted from it there were two more games decided by the coin flip in overtime. Both the Titans and Bucs won on the first drive that way. Fucking ridiculous rule.

Jets 26 Buffalo 17
The Bills are crumbling just as I predicted. The Jets D bailed Brett out.

Bears 27 Lions 23
Huge blow to the Bears that Ortons out. He was playing great football and now Grossman is in next week against the Titans :-)

Bengals 21 Jags 19
Dont really care that the win helped the Bengals but im glad they probably made the knockout blow to the Jags playoff chances.

Ravens 37 Browns 27
Flacco is looking better each week and the Ravens could do some damage in the playoffs. Damn why couldnt Titans have kept Mason.

Titans 19 Packers 16
A hard fought victory for the Titans. Kerry once again was clutch with the final drive and overtime. Chris Johnson and Lendale White (man im always tempted to say old school Oiler player Lorenzo White) were once again money. Hmm I wonder who their first loss will be against.

Bucs 30 Chiefs 27
Biggest comeback in Bucs history. Ive always liked watching Garcia. He plays so scrappy and better than what he looks like he should.

Cardinals 34 Rams 13
Another great game from Kurt Warner. If they can play some defense they might (doubtful) make some noise in the playoffs.

Vikings 28 Texans 21
Gus Ferotte once again getting er done and the Texans once again becoming the Texans.

Dolphins 26 Broncos 17
No more calling upset when the Dolphins win. They are a good team. Pennington was a perfect fit for this offense.

Falcons 24 Raiders 0
Wow the Raiders offense is fucking bad. Jamarcus Russell might be a bigger bust than Ryan Leaf.

Giants 35 Cowboys 14
I wont say much about this game. I'll let Tony in the comments give his take on the game. All Im going to say is that Ive watched the Cowboys for about 18 years now and this is one of the worst losses ( considering talent, expectations, etc...) that Ive ever seen.

Eagles 26 Seahawks 7
Each week the Eagles are getting better. Watch out if Mcnabb and Westbrook are fully healthy come playoff time

Colts 18 Patriots 15
Damn I wanted this to be the knock out blow for the Colts. No matter how bad they look now I just know when it comes playoff time if they make it, they can beat almost anyone.

Steelers 23 Redskins 6
A great victory for the Steelers but at what a might price. Can Leftwich keep the boat afloat until Big Ben gets healthy? Great defense and they still scare me if the Titans have to face them in the playoffs.

Wow...just wow... what to say about this Dallas loss ? Jerry Jones must be asking himself, what in the fuck have I done ? I mean, a crazy figure , something like 84 million dollars in bonuses were paid out to Cowboy players before this season began...and now this !!!. This is the biggest bunch of under performers that I have ever seen. I mean that sincerely with a very few exceptions. Those exceptions would be DeMarcus Ware, Zach Thomas, Jason Witten, and Marion Barber. I know that I called for Brooks Bollinger to replace Old Country BJ, but he turned out to be just as bad if not worse. I didn't realize that he was so frail looking. He doesn't even look like he could take a hit and really he can't. How important is a good backup QB ? Just ask the Titans. It is extremely important. OCBJ hopefully will retire into asst. coaching or broadcasting or being a spokesman for OA ( Overthrowers Anonymous ). Regardless, he will not be back with the Cowboys or anybody else for that matter. Brooks will be gone as well after this season. The decision to take OCBJ as our backup QB was probably a decision made by Jason Garrett and Wade Wilson. It has turned out to be a very, very bad and costly one. Garrett's judgement on this and his offensive play selection must be called into question at this point. I'm not sold on Garrett, if it's not obvious. Onto the penalties... are we now the Oakland Raiders of old ? How many stupid penalties are the cowboys going to rack up by not adhering to the fundamentals of the game. This all boils down to coaching, folks. Pure and simple. Wade's coaching demise is on track and may very well be arriving at the end of the season. I hope that he takes Brian Stewart and Dave Campo with him on that train out of town. O Line Coach Hudson Hauck needs to jump aboard that depating train as well. Our Huge O Line is undisciplined and lacks togetherness, thoughness and drive. They should be blasting holes in D Lines for Barber like the 90s Cowboy O Lines did for Emmitt. Our secondary is sloppy, soft, and extremely weak. The team as a whole is an embarrassment right now to most true cowboy fans. Yet this team's overall talent potential is through the roof but they play without enthusiasm and heart. Romo's return after the bye week ( and thank God for our present bye week ) hopefully will fire up the team to try and get a wildcard spot, which would mean having to win 5 out of 7 games or something like that with the way things are going in the NFC. But make no mistake about it, Romo is not the total solution to this current clusterfuck. It just gets worse and becomes more apparent when he's gone. They haven't been solid as a team since about the second game of the season. Even with Romo's return, the uphill climb is Mt. Everest and because of The Way we are losing this appears to me to be a problem that Romo alone can not fix. The Titans hung tough by hanging in there. WTF did that mean ? They are a strong, strong team. Oh and does Kyle Orton remind you of Dave Grohl ( Foofighters ) ? Every time I see him ( with the 'stache ) I think " Dave Grohl. " That is funny to me, to picture Dave Grohl QB'ing the Bears ( seems like it would be one of his characters in a FF video or something ). But now the GROSS ONE hath returned, sorry Bears... better luck next year. Until next week. ( yes, I'm going to comment on the cowboys non-loss this sunday even if it is a bye week ). It may be my last chance to truthfully say the Cowboys didn't lose this week.
