NFL Recap Week 11
Im still in shock my team is undefeated. I still dont think they will go undefeated but they are slowly making me more and more of a believer.
Jets 34 Patriots 31
Huge win for the Jets even though Cassel broke an NFl record. Bretts playing about as well as I expected but the defense is playing much better than I anticipated.
Broncos 24 Falcons 20
Huge win for the Broncos. They beat a good Atlanta team on the road. If there defense keeps playing this solid they could be a playoff force.
Eagles 13 Bengals 13
Embarassing. Whats even more embarassing is Mcnabb admitting he didnt know you could end up in a tie.
Packers 37 Bears 3
The Packs offense were on a roll. They did anything they wanted to against the defense.
Colts 33 Texans 27
I never wanted to utter this phrase this late in the season. "Manning and the Colts are now on a roll." Dammit.
Saints 30 Chiefs 20
The Saints keep their faint playoff hopes alive with a decent win over an improving Chiefs team.
Dolphins 17 Raiders 15
A little bit closer than I was expecting but Pennington got it done in the clutch.
Giants 30 Ravens 10
Damn those Giants are good. The team that the Titans should be scared of playing. And Eli is not even playing that good.
Bucs 19 Vikings 13
Another big victory for the Bucs. Its getting to be crunch time.
Panthers 31 Lions 22
Well the Lions were the Lions once again. Culpepper just needs to hit the retirement home again. The Panthers might be the shittiest 8-2 team Ive ever seen.
49ers 35 Rams 16
Big victory for coordinator Martz against his old team. Hill might be the answer for the 49ers at qb.
Cardinals 26 Seahawks 20
Warner might be the MVP. He's playing that good. It also helps when you have two all pro receivers to throw to.
Titans 24 Jaguars 14
Pfew. I was scared at halftime. Then the big hogs saddled up, dominated the line and Kerry threw some awesome TD passes. For once the receivers stepped up when they needed to. Thats two weeks in a row they had to pass and they got it done. This Sunday I hope they rattle Brett into another classic 3 interception game.
Steelers 11 Chargers 10
I was hoping this was the final nail in the Chargers coffin but in that shitty division they are still in the playoff mix. The Steelers line is horrendous. I cant wait for the Titans to take them on.
Cowboys 14 Redskins 10
Huge win for the Cowboys. They didnt look pretty doing it but they got er done. Not sure if it was all the boys doing or the choking on part of the Redskins. Tony I need your analysis.
Browns 29 Bills 27
I guessed right. The Bills were pretenders all along. A great 56 yd field goal by Phil Dawson to win the game. Hey Tony do you still have Phil Dawson's shoes?

Hell jeah, Titans! Brett's going to have to wear a diaper after that game.

Well the Cowboys got an important win against their old nemisis. The game was important for a several reasons perhaps, a road win against a divisional rival who had beaten them very handedly once already this season. Also, it was important to find out that Romo can still throw the ball, even though not as effectively as he could without the pinky splint. Also, the defensive line played very well as a unit, holding Portis to just a very few rushing yards and pressuring and sacking Campbell several times. The Dallas secondary finally played pretty well. Newman's return as corner was very important to their overall success. Newman nearly shut down Santana Moss the entire game and the Dallas Secondary in general played the WRs very physical and close, much more so than any other game this season. In saying that, Dallas Corner Anthony Henry still needs to go to the house. He got burned a few times again, no suprise. Marion The Barbian ran the ball very tough and physical as always and carried the rock 11 times on the last drive. Late in the game, he can turn into a beast of a ball carrier. The Cowboys' rookie TE Martelis Bennett ( from Hard Knocks fame ) finally stepped up his game by catching a tough 25 yard TD pass from Romo late in the game. This game may or may not be important for a wild card birth down the road. A lot of things will need to happen between now and then and one game does not a season make. We'll see if this win lit a fire under them or not next Sunday against Singletary's squad. I will not be suprised either way. Also, in other Cowboy news - NFL commish Rog G. reinstated Adam " Pac-man " Jones today. Adam has supposedly completed a 30 day alcohol rehab program and hasn't been involved in any further incidents since the October altercation. Jerry Jones has made the intention known that Pac-man will continue playing for the Cowboys and will be practicing with the team now and should return against the Steelers in early December. My question - WWWHHHYYYYYY ???? Adam Jones will not change his behavior and this will not be the last incident he'll be involved in. Adam Jones doesn't give a fuck about the team or playing football, if he did he wouldn't be such a fuckup. There are stories all of the time here in Dallas - Adam Jones was spotted at such and such strip club or such and such party here or there. All of the time, the reports come in and are verified by multiple eye witnesses to his presence. I'm not saying that Pacman should resign himself to being a home body, but come'on dude... you know you have an alcohol problem, a criminal problem, a carrying guns around problem, and you are under the media microscope 100% of the time. Pacman is one of those dudes that has some talent ( not as much as he thinks )and he is by no means a Deion Sanders shut-down corner type but as a person, he is a pretty sorry dude and that carries across and impacts the team. Jerry needs to let him go, the NFL needs to let him go for good this time. He is bad for the Cowboys and the NFL. I thought that Rog G. would stick to his word about " last chance " but I guess not. Hey Jason, will y'all please take him back now ? The experiment didn't work. Oh and I don't know what ever happened to the Phil Dawson football shoes that I owned. I'm sure that I no longer have them but I can't remember what ever happened to 'em. I remember they were always about a half size too small but I wore them anyway... for our infamous season of playing flag football for AMAT. THE SQUAD !!! Betta' Recognize !!! The Squad, what a well oiled machine that was. hahahaha. A season to remember and one for the history books...hahahahaha. Well, we kicked ass the first game at least, right.
