Nfl Recap Week 6
What an amazing weekend. 5 games decided in last minute of the game or o.t. Lets start with those 5 games
Texans 29 Dolphins 28
Gutsy call on 4th and goal. If Andre Johnson was on any other team he would be a huge star. Why cant the Titans get someone like him?
Vikings 12 Lions 10
Another bad call by a ref that cost a team the game. The Vikings are just a mediocre team at best
Rams 19 Redskins 17
Embarassing loss by the Redskins. They gave this game to the Rams.
Falcons 22 Bears 20
What a great ending. Orton really thought the game was iced with his last touchdown. He was celebrating like he wont the Superbowl. Too bad his coach made a stupid decision to squib kick the kickoff and too bad Matt Ryan made a beautiful throw to set up the field goal.
Cardinals 30 Cowboys 24
Even though I was happy by the result this game had me so frustrated. Every stupid rule in the Nfl almost came into play. The Tuck rule is fucking stupid and just so subjective. Let a fumble be a fumble and get on with it. Then the Cards are penalized for a player being hurt and not getting back to the line? Finally the stupid o.t. rules of scoring first came into play. This time it worked out for the Cardinals but it would have been a different story if Cowboys would have went down and scored first. Worst fucking rule in professional sports. With those O.T. rules in place whoever has the better defense usually wins. The game should be about who has the best team not the best defense.
Colts 31 Ravens 3
Uh oh the Colts finally looked scary. Hopefully the Ravens just had a bad week.
Saints 34 Raiders 3
Looks like my preseason pick for Drew Brees for Mvp has a chance to come true. Its just the Raiders so im not too excited yet.
Jets 26 Bengals 14
Looks like Brett's got some left in the tank. The Bengals are pathetic
Bucs 27 Panthers 3
What a strange game. When Garcia is on he's on.
Jags 24 Broncos 17
Speaking of mediocre teams
Eagles 40 49ers 26
What a Jeckyl and Hyde team. Are the Eagles now the 3rd best team in their division?
Packers 27 Seahawks 17
At times Rodgers looks damn good. What a disappointment the Seahawks are.
Chargers 30 Patriots 10
Dammit. One of the few times I was rooting for the Patriots. With that crappy division the Chargers are back in the mix.

Oh yeah, I'm back in the mix for the NFL talk. Mainly just to talk about the cowboys as ya know. I agree with you man, the tuck rule is fucking ridiculous. A fumble is a fumble is a fumble...and that was a fumble. My problem with that fumble is that Romo looked like he didn't give a shit either way and that pissed me off. A lot of things about the cowboys are pissing me off right now. I also agree about the OT rule. Also ridiculous. I was extremely glad to see that the calling of the timeout at the snap of the last second 4th quarter Dallas field goal came back to bite Ken Wisenhunt squarely in the ass. Had he not called it, it's game over. My comment to to all NFL coaches - Stop trying to ice kickers at the snap of the ball. It may come back to loose the game for your dumbass. My current cowboy issues are these in no particular order (1) Our frigg'in huge and athletic offensive line is playing like shit. Providing no pocket and creating dumbass false starts...and to Center Andre Gurode ( AKA : Albert Hainsworth's best friend )... Hike the Fuck'in Ball or buy a Hearing Aide. (2) With Wade Phillips, nice guys may indeed finish last (in the NFC East at least ). Come on Wade, start chewing some ass. (3) Romo's unwillingness to throw the ball deep down field in the face of a hit. (4) Romo's inaccuracy as of late. (5) Romo's seemingly don't give a fuck attitude sometimes. (5)T.O.'s unwillingness to get off the jam and run his assigned route. I know he gets jammed at the line and doubled on almost every play with a safety over the top. So fucking what ? All of the great receivers do...and the great ones still run their assigned routes and find separation. T.O. is letting some No-Name and Has-Been Scrubs cover him and they are doing a great job of it because he is playing too half-assed. (6) Off.Coord. Jason Garrett's play seelections are becoming predictable, too conservative, and in many cases unwise... HB traps ain't gonna cut it against aggressive D-lines. (7) Special Teams - what the fuck is happening to these guys ? Spec. Teams Coord. Bruce Reed has got to get a handle on this shit because they suck. (8) WR Patrick Crayton needs to catch the damn ball. (8) This is a moot point now but not utiliing RB Felix Jones more often is outrageous. The dude has fucking jets strapped to the back of his shoes. (8) Sorry ass below average corners who play 10 YARDS off the WR at the line of scrimage. The opposing WR never gets jammed. (9) With all of this talent - ROMO, T.O., WITTEN, BARBER, F.JONES, CRAYTON, AUSTIN, WARE, SPEARS, RATLIFF, JAMES, Z.THOMAS, ELLIS, HUGE O-LINE, and Various Good Role Players....they still can't get it done. There is No Excuse for that. Dallas' 3rd string Safety and Special Teamer, Keith Davis said it best " All the talent in the world ain't gonna do it, Want-To is what does it. " So true. Now we are really FUKD. Romo is out for 4-6 weeks, the NFLs Best Punter Mat McBriar is out for the season perhaps and Felix Jones is out 2-4 weeks. If the O-Line plays like they have been playing as of late Backup and now starting QB Brad Johnson will be be out for the rest of his natural career after the next game. Even though our opponent is the horrible Rams. But they did beat the Redskins and the Redskins beat us. The Dallas Morning News a couple of days ago was quoting Brad Johnson stats from his 1996 season, like that's still relevant. 12 years ago !!! Please !!! News Flash...He wasn't even so great back then. Get ready Dallas Fans for a rough upcoming month or so. In the great words of Jim Mora " playoffs...Playoffs ??? " Getting there will be tough from here.

allright its good to have some Cowboy commentary back. I would have never thought this part in the season the Titans were playing better than the Boys. Its a long season so im sure another 6 weeks from now It could be a whole different story lines.
Yeah, you're right about that. The story lines will probably be way different and hopefully for Dallas they will not be 0 and 6 with Brad Johnson as the starter but I wouldn't bet against it. Yeah the Titans are playing great. " Kerry Collins " reinventing himself again, the revival of K.C. from AA to TN. He is the definition in my opinion of a good backup QB... one who can come in and at least help get the job done. Something I fear " Old Country BJ " can not do for the cowboys. The Cowboys have no identity, we as fans have no idea what team is going to show up from week to week. The squad that beat Philly or the one that lost to the Redskins. We simply have no idea, and perhaps neither do they. Also, Dallas kind of acts like it has already done something in the Romo Era. They ain't done shit but drop out like chumps in the first round. It's almost this sense of false entitlement that has me scratching my head. Win at least one frigg'in playoff game first. Don't get me wrong, we got some bright spots. DeMarcus Ware is a Pass Rushing Beast and Zach Thomas is still the Tackling Cyborg that he has always been. Then there is Marion " The Barbarian " Barber, who should have a very exciting and short lived NFL career with the way he runs looking for contact all the way on every play...but ya gotta love his running style. I still believe in Romo but he has to get his head on straight, make better decisions, care more, and for gods sake " SCRAMBLE " what happened to that part of his game ? Is Bledsoe our QBs Coach now or something ? You're right, it's a long season and for Dallas it may feel like an eternity if they don't get it turned around. Until next week.
