Seed Movie Review

Directed by Uwe Boll

Everyones favorite director has just unloaded his seed upon the earth. Its finally an original script and not based after any type of video game. Just to be fair on the review the version I saw was not unrated and it was sliced up more than an emo kid that just heard that My Chemical Romance just broke up. I mean everytime it was ready to show some gore the camera awkwardly cut away. Having said that I dont know if the gore would have helped any. It was pretty friggin terrible. 2007 was a bad year for Uwe. I havent seen Dungeon Siege or Postal yet but this movie and Bloodrayne 2 were his two least favorite movies ive seen of his so far.

The movie is about a serial killer on death row named Matthew Seed that has killed over 666 victims to date. While he is waiting for the electric chair the first half of the movie shows flashbacks of how the detective caught him. There was a scene at the beginning of the movie that shows a dream sequence of Seed grabbing a little baby on a bus while the detective is hollering for the people to stay away. After Seed faces the electric chair he does not die but they still bury him alive while they lead reporters and the families to believe he died on the chair. Matthew busts out of his coffin and goes to get revenge on the detective's family.
The ending is so piss poor and weak I didnt give a damn what happened. The movie was pretty boring, predictable and the ending was a huge letdown. Now im not a Uwe hater (or lover) but im worried that he's actually getting worse as a director instead of better. On a scale of 1-10 I give this a nail gun to the skull 2.8 out of 10.
