Monday (Flea Markets)
Good Monday morning every body. I hope you had an eventful weekend or at least had fun while you sat around the house. Over the weekend I went to a flea market down in south San Antonio. I was told it was going to be different but nope it was the same as all the others. Flea Markets are fun to go to sometimes because you can find the occasional oddball item that you could never find at a retail store, plus its always fun to make fun of the cheeseball cowboy outfits and the tejano music. But for the most part all Texas flea markets at least are basically the same 10 booths repeated over and over. You have the baseball hat and gangsta clothes booths. You have the cell phone accessory booths. You have the dollar store crappy toy booths. You have the stereo equipment booths. You have the never ending tejano cd and tapes(lol) booths. You have the dried mexican food booths. You have the old school video games (nes and snes) booths. You have the gold and fake gold booths. You have the custom t shirt booths. Oh yeah I cant forget there is the occasional Asian items booth sprinkled throughout. There are some others but you get the idea. One new trend I did notice was there was a lot of local rappers there with their cd's blasting , trying to sell, I mean pimp their album. All in all it was good times. One thing I did learn this weekend, "Chuck Norris doesnt leave messages, he only leaves warnings!"
