RIP Russell Craig Lloyd
This past week on tuesday January 8th my dad passed away. He had a heart condition for the past few years, so I knew it was probably gonna be soon. There was a few years where we werent on speaking terms but fortunately over the past few years I did manage to get a lot closer to my father. After a serious incident he had around this past Thanksgiving I talked to him for a few hours on the phone. He admitted he knew the time was probably close but he was joyful that he had completely straightened out his life and made peace with God. He had a huge influence on my character and helped me become who I am today. He was not a strict disciplinarian but when I messed up I definitely faced the consequences I deserved. He had a great sense of humor and never took anything truly minor very seriously. He taught me to have faith no matter what obstacles I will face in life. I never saw him once treat a stranger with disrespect, and he was geniunely kind to all his friends. I will always miss him but I find solace knowing someday I'll meet up with him again once I leave this temporary earthly body.

Hey Jason,
I am sooo sorry to hear about this. My condolences to you and your family. I just met your dad once and saw him twice, but he always seemed like a light hearted, funny, and good natured guy. I will never forget the story that you told me about how your dad would say " elementary " when something that should have been simple to figure out was becoming a complicated matter for someone else. I also remember you telling me about how everybody at Alcoa had nicknames and you said that your dad's was " fatback " but that was one of the better ones in comparison to some others. That was funny. I just wanted to let you know that I am sorry for your loss but it is true that the circle remains unbroken and we will see them again when the lord calls us home. If you need anything just let me know.

your friend always,
Tony
