Nfl Recap
Packers 34
Vikings 0

Man what an ass kicking. Green Bay is looking damn good. Lambeau field in the playoffs will be a tough place to play. The Vikings, just like the Titans are finding out you have to have more than just a good running game to beat the elite teams. Hopefully Adrian wont be out to long. I want to see more of his highlight reels.

Jaguars 28
Titans 13

This was a huge game that the Titans blew. If they would have won this then they would have been tied with Indy for first place in the division and two games up on the Jags. The Jags did a great job of shutting down the run. Its time for the Titans to get a new offensive philosophy and start trying to pass more often. I hope the Madden curse hasnt hit VY. They need to take the early Favre, Manning approach and just let Vy gunsling it and dont worry about the picks. He looks so tentative out there and I think that would be a great confidence builder. Another thing is he needs to run more often. He has this mindset like too many other running quarterbacks that they need to be a pocket passer. Dont try to be the greatest pocket passer ever, try to be the greatest running quarterback ever! Besides the Titans have one of the worst group of receivers in the Nfl so that aint happening. If Peyton was on this team I can just picture him on the sideline slapping them all in the head out of frustration.

Broncos 27
Chiefs 11

Thank you Broncos for helping the Titans wild card chances.

Bills 13
Dolphins 10

Im sure old Dan Marino could do better than that cast of quarterbacks.

Rams 37
Saints 29

Now this is the Rams I thought were going to show up all season. They could play spoiler to some teams down the stretch.

Steelers 31
Browns 28

As much as I hate the Steelers im glad they won. This really helps the the Titans wild card chances.

Eagles 33
Redskins 25

Every time I think the Redskins are gonna take a step to being a very good team that somehow stumble and lose.

Falcons 20
Panthers 13

Yawn.

Bengals 21
Ravens 7

Wow how bad is the Ravens offense when they cant even score on the 31st ranked defense. Get Mcnair a wheelchair or walker and get him out of there.

Bears 17
Raiders 6

I think its about time for the Raiders to try Jamarcus.

Cardinals 31
Lions 21

Are the Lions for real? I cant put my finger on this team.

Chargers 31
Colts 28

Thank you , thank you, thank you Chargers. This shows how good Indy really is. They still should have won the game even without Freeny, Harrison and other key members. Are we sure that was Adam Vinateiri out there that missed that kick? Maybe he had something to do and that was his twin brother out there.

Cowboys 31
Giants 20

How bout the Cowboys! Man i was wrong on this pick. I thought the Giants were on a roll and they would eek out a win. But nope the Cowboys are for real. They have a solid defense, Romo is playing out of this world and everything is looking good. That Green Bay/Dallas matchup is looking bigger and bigger the closer it gets. "Get your popcorn ready!"

You think Romo is hooking up with any of these?

Well, Dallas got it done again. Going into the game, I was a bit worried about the cowboys' offensive line and how it would match up against the supposed " New and Improved " Giants' defensive line. After reading that Plaxico had a lingering injury I was no longer worried about our secondary covering him. Going in, I was not worried about Giants' running back Brandon Jacobs because I am not worried about any running back that the cowboys face. They shut them all down. The Cowboys' super sized O line held up and the Giants only recorded one official sack ( the other was a hand-off and will be overturned ). Meanwhile the Cowboys' Defense recorded 5 sacks on Manning. The secondary ( minus Roy Williams of course ) was fairly proficient. The passing attack and the offensive play selection of Dallas was very good. The personal foul penalties against Dallas was something that Dallas has to stop, they have to play more professional and smarter ( although it was one of those games where both teams really do hate each other ). Romo to Owens was sick, like a backyard game of catch. That's a dangerous combo for defenses to contend with. I am not the first to say it but I believe dallas to be in the top 3 and maybe top 2 teams of the entire NFL right now. I personally think that Dallas could beat Indy right now, the cowboys did it last year with a team that's not as good as the current one and Indy was better last year than right now. I am looking forward to the Cowboy/Packer showdown. I like Favre of course but I do think that the Cowboys have got way too much Offense for Greenbay to contend with. Plus Ryan Grant ( GB's RB ) should not have a big day against Dallas' D. It will not be a blow out by any means but Dallas should be able to expose Greenbay's secondary ( which is pretty good )for enough points to win the game. Dallas just has too many offensive weapons ( like a ninja'a arsenal ). I see the biggest challenge the Cowboys face is winning the games that they are supposed to ( ie: REDSKINS and JETS ). This season is strange, teams are up and down, just not consistent from week to week ( with just a few exceptions ). The teams that you think are going somewhere lose to some scrubs and then the next week beat somebody decent. Just strange. Oh and about the Titans, I was pulling for them all the way in that game - but I don't know and I've got to be honest here. It looks like Vince is confused about what to do on certain plays. Is he thinking too much OR not enough ? I don't know. It just seems like he is making some " elementary " bad decisions on the field. Now, you don't have to necessarily be a smart dude to play the position of QB and be successful but you do have to make good decisions. That's where I see the problems with Vince. I agree with you, he needs to use those legs and take off up field a whole lot more plus that will open up other stuff for the offense because the defense will have to watch him like a hawk. Come'on Vince, do your thing. Until next week.
