Hostel 2

I thought Hostel 1 was highly underrated and received a negative backlash because its so hip to hate director Eli Roth. I thought it was leaps and bounds better than Cabin Fever. Even though I liked Hostel 1 I didnt think it should have a sequel. Hostel 2 was a mixed bag. I liked showing the point of the view of the killers but I hated the victims so much. All 3 of the girls were so damn annoying I couldnt care if they lived or died.

If i would have known this was a sci fi original movie on dvd i wouldnt have wasted my time watching it. I do give it credit for having a semi original story but the action was so damn weak it didnt matter. Its basically about some crows that eat some dead cows that have mad cow disease then they go on a rampage killing the town people. I predicted the ending immediately and I was right. It was better than most sci fi channel movies but not by much.


Meet the Robinsons
I guess it was a good movie. I was half paying attention while the dvd was playing. The computer animation looked cool. I could tell it wasnt as good as the Incredibles but better than the average kiddie movie.

I dont get all the hype. I had seen a lot of positive reviews for the movie so i was semi looking forward to this. It was acted, shot and directed well but it still lacked something. I guess they were going for an American Psycho straight type of vibe but it just didnt connect with me. Too many coincidences and another sub par performance in a movie by Dane Cook. Am i missing something about this guy? Every movie ive seen him in, he's been nothing special. I thought he was a comedian. What doesnt he ever try to be funny?
