Delivery Dvd Review
I wanted so bad for this to be a good throwback 80's style slasher movie, but nope it was another std run of the mill horror garbage. To start with the positives I really like the cover with the tagline "We Deliver In 30 Minutes Or Your Killing is Free"! Thats a classic cheesy line on par with the best 80's stuff. The other positive thing about the movie is tits. If you are a titty lover then you will be in heaven. In 3 separate scenes of the movie the delivery guy goes to a sorority house and there are literally dozens of topless girls, drinking, playing poker and making out. What the hell was the name of that sorority? Pie Beta Muncha? Its such an unrealistic scenario but it had me grinning ear to ear. Other than that when actor Matt Stone (pizza guy) got into full rage mode he was pretty intimidating looking which was pretty cool.
The movie is basically about some loser slob that works delivering pizzas, and his daily encounters with all types of scrubs. Some people make fun of him, he gets cussed out, money thrown into his face, etc... Throughout the movie you see that he has flashbacks of his dad killing his mom then blowing his own head off. Finally all of this catches up to him and he snaps and goes on a killing spree after over an hour worth of boring ass exposition and cheesy acting. Matt is cool in full on rage mode but before he snaps hes just a fat slob that cant act his way out of a donut bag. There is very little gore and what they do show is amateurish. There's no cool music, no tension built up, very little gore, but there is a bunch of beautiful titties. Just on that fact alone I give it a two hands and mouthful 3.0 out 10.
