Nfl Predictions Recap
Every year before the nfl season starts I like to make 10 predictions of how I think the season will turn out. As most people know the Nfl is a very unpredictable sport. Lets see how I did.
1. The Nfl Mvp will be Drew Brees. I just think the running game might be lacking again so it will force Drew to go to the air with big numbers again.
I was close on this. He wasnt the Mvp of the league but he was the offensive player of the year.
2. Brett and the Jets will not make the playoffs. I think Brett will have a good season but the AFC is too loaded for them to make it. There is a slight chance if my next prediction comes true.
Right on the money.
3. Jaguars are going to have a tough season. I just think its been too tough of an offseason with injuries and they are in a too tough of a division with both the Texans and the Titans on the uprise.
Damn im good.
4. Devon Hester will continue his brilliance. I think he will get at least 3 returns for touchdowns.
Nope I was off on this one. I think his expanded role as a receiver played a part into this.
5. I think the Cardinals will have a good season but barely miss the playoffs. It seems like I always make this prediction and they always let me down.
Dammit I should have went with my gut feeling on this one.
6. I think the Titans will at least make it to the second round of the playoffs.
I was right but In a far different way then i was expecting.
7. Chris Johnson of the Titans will be the sleeper rookie of the draft.
I was right again. Not many scouts had him this good or he would have been a higher pick.
8. I think the Chargers are on the slide and they will not make it to the second round of the playoffs.
I was close but no cigar.
9. The Cowboys will actually win a playoff game. Actually maybe two cuz I have them in the NFC Championship game.
Im not alone in this prediction. Very disappointing season for the Boys.
10. The Super Bowl will be a fun shootout with the Saints edging the Colts for the championship.
Nope, both teams choked in one way or another.
I guess I didnt do that bad overall. Still another 7 months till it starts all over. At least Ill have the Spurs to watch for the next few months.

Nfl Divional Playoffs Predictions
Baltimore at Tennessee
Ive seen and read a lot of experts and heard the Ravens fans talk a lot of trash this week.
You Ravens fans really talk big for a team that has:
1. A worse record
2. 10 fewer sacks made
3. 32 more sacks allowed
4. Running backs with lower yard totals and average yards per carry
5. Half as many victories over playoff teams in the regular season
6. Already lost to the Titans at your home this year
7. A defense that has allowed more points per game
8. On a short week of rest
Plain and simple it comes to line play. The Titans have a better offensive and defensive line.
Prediction: Titans over Ravens
Arizona at Carolina
This one is easy for me to pick. The Cardinals dont travel well and the Panthers have been playing well as of late.
Prediction: Panthers over Cardinals
San Diego At Pittsburgh
The battle of two teams I really hate. This one could go either way but I think Pittsburgh defense with step up when it matters. I give a slight nod to the Steelers.
Prediction: Steelers over Chargers
Philadelphia at Ny
There has to be at least one upset this weekend and this is my pick for that. Another game I wouldnt be surprised if either team won. I think the Eagles are playing too hot and the Giants were slumping at the end. I think this is the game where they miss Plaxico.
Prediction: Eagles over Giants

Nfl Playoff Predictions
Atlanta at Arizona
What I wish would happen: Even though I should technically hate Warner for beating the Titans in the Superbowl, I just cant find a way to hate one of the true good guys in sports. I hope the Cardinals beat the Falcons.
What will happen: It wouldnt surprise me if this game went either way. I just think Cardinals have too much firepower and the Falcons are too green. My pick: Cardinals over Falcons.
Indianapolis at San Diego
What I wish would happen: I should want the Chargers to beat a division rival, a former recent superbowl champ and a dangerous team. But I hate the Chargers so fucking much I would love for anybody to knock them out of the playoffs. It would be nice though for Titans to knock the Chargers teeth in. I hope Chargers win a tough one.
What will happen: This ones so tough to call. I think the Colts are on an unbelievable roll. Plus there are still some injuries to the Chargers. My pick: Colts over Chargers.
Baltimore at Miami
What I wish would happen: This ones easy. The Ravens defense scares me and I like Pennington. I hope the Dolphins dickslap them.
What will happen: Out of all the teams the Titans faced, the Ravens defense was by far the best I saw. I think it will be a close game though. My pick: Ravens over Dolphins.
Philadelphia at Minnesota
What I wish would happen: I honestly dont really have much of a preference here. I guess it would be cool for the Vikings to get a win over a veteran team.
What will happen: I dont think the Vikings have much of a chance. My prediction for the blowout of the weekend. Eagles over Vikings.

Nfl Recap Week 17
Chargers 52 Broncos 21
Fucking Broncos. One of the few games this weekend I had a real rooting interest in. What a colossal collapse by the Broncos.
49ers 27 Redskins 24
I was glad to see Singletary named the permanent head coach. Another gutsy win by the 49ers. Another late season collapse by the Redskins.
Ravens 27 Jaguars 7
Damn the Ravens look scary. I still think the Titans match up favorably with them.
Dolphins 24 Jets 17
Thank you Dolphins. I was so glad that you not on beat the Jets but knocked the Patriots out of the running.
Eagles 44 Cowboys 6
Holy crap what an ass kicking. What changes do the Cowboys need to make? Another collapse by Romo. Is he going to overcome the hump like Manning finally did? Or do the Cowboys need to start looking elsewhere? Im sure Tony will have some answers in the comments section.
Cardinals 34 Seahawks 21
Wow the Cardinals finally won a game. Maybe this will jumpstart them for the playoffs.
Falcons 31 Rams 27
Next week will be an interesting game between the Falcons and Cardinals.
Patriots 13 Bills 0
All for naught. Too bad Belichek.
Bengals 16 Chiefs 6
Yawn
Packers 31 Lions 21
0-16. I never thought it was possible in this day and age. Looks like they had enough of poor ol Rod.
Colts 23 Titans 0
Looks like the Colts backups are a lot better than the Titans backups. This game doesnt worry me at all. The Titans will be rested and ready for the probable rematch against the Colts in two weeks.
Vikings 20 Giants 19
Clutch win by the Vikes. Great field goal at the bell.
Panthers 33 Saints 31
Anything typical loss by the Saints. Brees is awesome and they still lose.
Steelers 31 Browns 0
Even Cowher is smart enough to turn down the Browns job.
Raiders 31 Bucs 24
What a huge collapse by the Bucs. All they had to do was win 1 of the last 4 games to get in the playoffs. Tom Cable deserves to keep the Raiders job.
Texans 31 Bears 24
All the Bears had to do was win and in. Just like the Cowboys and Broncos they just couldnt get er done. Bring on the playoffs!

Nfl Recap Week 16
What another wild and crazy weekend. Next week will be fun to see who wants to go to the playoffs.Bears 20 Packers 17
Wow how far have the Pack fallen just since last year. Maybe Aaron Rodgers isnt the new golden boy like he was anointed early in the season. Still too early to probably tell.Colts 31 Jags 24
The one f-ing team Im scared of the Titans playing in the playoffs. I think Manning should once again be the mvp. It will be interesting next week to see how much the starters play for both them and the Titans.Ravens 33 Cowboys 24
Ken Hamlin may have ruined the season for the Cowboys. Two huge missed tackles and that muffed fumble recovery. I couldnt believe the game while I was watching it. Now its win or go home at Philly next week.
Bengals 14 Browns 0
The Browns may be as bad as the Lions. Getting blanked by the Bengals!
Saints 42 Lions 7
What a wasted season by Drew Brees. All those td's and yards all for naught. Oh well theres next year.
Titans 31 Steelers 14
The Titans D-slapped the Steelers right in the mouth. In the second half when the Steelers usually put the hammer down, the Titans rose to the occasion and gave them a taste of their own medicine. And this was by the backup d line! Rothlisburger holds the ball way too long especially for that offensive line. Kerry passes were pin point all day long. When the Titans were desecrating the terrible towels I was laughing so hard. Some in the media are saying it will be extra motivation for the Steelers if they rematch in the playoffs. Are you f-ing kidding? If they meet again it will be in the Afc Championship game. Isnt a chance to go to the superbowl enough motivation in itself? I hope they do play them again.
Dolphins 38 Chiefs 31
Great effort by the Chiefs but the Dolphins still are finding ways to win. Man I hope they beat the Jets next week. It would be such sweet revenge for Pennington.
49ers 17 Rams 16
I think the 49ers have some potential. Singletary might be the right man for the job.
Patriots 47 Cards 7
What a total ass whipping. I think it would be a miracle for the Cardinals to win even one game on the road in the playoffs.
Chargers 41 Bucs 24
Why cant the fucking Chargers just die. Im rooting so hard for the Broncos to win next week but of course the probably wont.
Seahawks 13 Jets 3
How they hell did the Titans lose to the Jets a few weeks back? Im still confused about that one.
Raiders 27 Texans 16
Raiders have some impressive wins this year. Jamarcus actually improved but I still dont know if he's going to be their answer at qb.
Bills 30 Broncos 23
F-ing Broncos once again choked away their chance for the division win and the playoffs. They will probably get smoked next week.
Redskins 10 Eagles 3
When you have Westbrook and no allpro receivers why would you throw it as much as Philly does? Their showdown with the Cowboys next week should be a classic.
Falcons 24 Vikings 17
Damn the Falcons are impressive at times. They could do some damage in the playoffs. Cant wait to see a full game from them.
Giants 34 Panthers 28
The Gmen came through when they needed to. They had a little luck(and wind) on their side but they still got er done.

Rod Marinelli Press Conference
When I first saw this clip I thought it was funny as hell. I think the reporter had the right to ask any fucking question he wants as long as he gets a straight answer which Rod Marinelli was obviously not going to give. I fucking loved the last question he asked. It was a funny joke and I couldnt disagree any more than Howie, Jimmy, Michael and Terry's take on it all. Rod Marinelli is obviously probably not a good coach or good motivator from everything Ive seen from him. The Detroit Lions are a group of Nfl professional players so theres no fucking excuse why they couldnt have at least won one single game. Im glad Rob Parker stood up and tried to get to the serious questions and pull no punches. I wish we had more of that in the media. Heres the clip for everyone who hasnt seen it yet.

Jets, who beat Arizona, which beat Miami, which beat St. Louis, which beat Dallas, which beat Washington, which beat New Orleans, which beat Tampa Bay, which beat Minnesota, which beat Carolina, which beat Atlanta, which beat Chicago, which beat Indianapolis, which beat Baltimore, which beat Philadelphia, which beat the N.Y. Nfl Recap Week 15
Bears 27 Saints 24
What a disappointment the Saints have been. Horrible defense. With that offense and just a decent defense they would be playing for the #1 seed.
Falcons 13 Bucs 10
Matt Ryan has rookie of the year locked up. Turner was a beast once more again.
Bengals 20 Redskins 13
Are the Bengals playing well enough to save Marvin Lewis' job? Redskins doing another tank job.
Seahawks 23 Rams 20
snoreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.........
Dolphins 14 49ers 9
Chad Pennington probably got screwed out of a pro bowl. I would have voted him in before Brett.
Jets 31 Bills 27
A bad decision to roll out on the play that cost the Bills the game. Bad play call but not the worst of the day.
Colts 31 Lions 21
The Lions fought hard. Im pissed the Colts still find a way to win.
Chargers 22 Chiefs 21
Why cant the Chargers just crawl off and die! Please Broncos dont blow it.
Jaguars 20 Packers 16
a year ago this would have been a good matchup, but not now.
Texans 13 Titans 12
Omg. I cant believe Fisher opted for the stupid 4th down play instead of having one of the best kickers in the league try a 49 yd field goal to win the game. He was already 4 for 4 on the day with a 51 yarder under his belt. If this ends up costing the Titans homefield throughout I'll be so pissed. Next week without Haynesworth against the Steelers will be a true test to see how good of shape the Titans are heading into the playoffs. Huge game to decide the homefield. I cant wait.
Vikings 35 Cardinals 14
The Cardinals are f-ing pathetic on the road. They will be in real trouble come playoff time. I think there might be a real qb controversy brewing in Minnesota.
Panthers 30 Broncos 10
Are the Panthers really the best team in football like some experts say? If they are then there really is parody in the league. Broncos D was once again pathetic.
Steelers 13 Ravens 9
As much as I hate to admit it that really was a touchdown by the Steelers. Even if it wasnt Big Ben could have easily snuck 1inch on the 4th down play to get the t.d. Steelers still arent super impressing me. If the Titans play to their ability they should beat them on Sunday even without Hayneswoth.
Patriots 49 Raiders 26
Yawn.
Cowboys 20 Giants 8
Are they Boys on the upswing or the Gmen just on a downfall? The Giants need to do something pretty quick to right the ship in time. Huge game for them this Sunday. I get so tired of hearing about T.O. its not even funny.
Eagles 30 Browns 10
Eagles win the next two and I think they are in. Big turnaround for them so far. When healthy they are dangerous.
Bears 27 Saints 24

Nfl Recap Week 14
Another exciting weekend in the NFL. How can this not be your favorite sport? I celebrated the Titans winning their division and securing at least a first round bye.
Chargers 34 Raiders 7
Aww poor Chargers. Too little too late.
Bears 23 Jags 10
Wow the Jags ended up being fucking horrible.
Vikings 20 Lions 16
That was probably the lions best chance for a win. At least they will get a good draft pick.
Texans 24 Packers 21
Great performance by Matt Schaub. Too bad he's so brittle.
Titans 28 Browns 9
Hells to the yeah. Browns are a bad team. The Titans real test is coming up the next few weeks. First up is the getting better each week Texans, then the Steelers and then finish up with Indy. They just need to win 2 of the 3 to be guaranteed home field throughout.
Colts 35 Bengals 3
Dammit the Colts are getting scary good again. The last team I want the Titans to play in the playoffs.
Saints 29 Falcons 25
Huge win for the Saints. Every game is a playoff game for them.
Eagles 20 Giants 14
Maybe the Giants are going to miss Plaxico more than they are willing to admit. The Eagles still have a chance if they win out.
Broncos 24 Chiefs 17
Not an impressive victory. Playoffs should be one and done for the Bronocs.
Dolphins 16 Bills 3
The Dolphins are a tough team. Not the most talent but they know how to win. Pennington is doing a great job.
49ers 24 Jets 14
How far have the Jets fallen in just two weeks? They are in a tough battle for the division.
Patriots 24 Seahawks 21
Patriots still know what it takes to win. Lets see if they have enough gas in the tank to make the playoffs
Cardinals 34 Rams 10
An expected win. Lets see if the Cards can do it on the road against a good team.
Steelers 20 Cowboys 13
What a tough loss for the Cowboys. Romo just fell apart in the last quarter. Some bad horrible passes. This loss may come back to haunt them.
Ravens 24 Redskins 10
Ravens are getting better each week. Definitely a darkhorse if they make the playoffs.
Panthers 38 Bucs 23
First win that the Panthers impressed me. Still not sold on them.

Nfl Recap Week 13
What a strange week in the Nfl. Most of the home teams got beat.
Titans 47 Lions 10
What a Thanksgiving dud. It would great to see the Titans came out aggressive but who are we kidding. The Lions are fucking horrible. I think a handful of college teams could beat them. So not really a good barometer on how the Titans are. They have Pittsburgh and Indy coming up so that should be a good indicator of the playoffs. Its amazing how after one loss so many sports media people jumped off the bandwagon and now have the Titans the 3rd of 4th best team in the Afc. In my opinion they are still overall better than the Jets, Steelers and even Indy. The way Baltimore is playing I might would have to rank them higher than some of those teams.
Cowboys 34 Seahawks 9
Uh oh uh oh here comes the Romo. Are the Cowboys back? Will Pacman make a difference in special teams? The next few weeks will be interesting.
Eagles 48 Cardinals 20
Another bad road loss for the Cards. Maybe the benching of Mcnabb lit a fire under him.
49ers 10 Bills 3
Yawn
Ravens 34 Bengals 3
Out of all the teams the Titans played this year the Ravens looked the best. They have an awesome defense. If it wasnt for a few rookie mistakes by Flacco they could have beat the Titans. Definitely a Dark Horse.
Colts 10 Browns 6
They're not making it looks pretty but the Colts are still on a roll. Hopefully there is a chance they still can be knocked out of making the playoffs.
Panthers 35 Packers 31
The worst 9-3 team Ive ever seen. Im not a believer in them at all. Im predicting it now. In the playoffs the Panthers will be one and done.
Dolphins 16 Rams 12
Another close win for the Fins. They still have a chance at the playoffs.
Bucs 23 Saints 20
Another tough loss for the Saints. Probably ruined Brees chance at Mvp and maybe their shot at the playoffs. Bucs are winning tough games.
Giants 23 Redskins 7
The G-men still are the best in the NFL. I dont really see any weaknesses.
Falcons 22 Chargers 16
How good is Matt Ryan going to be? Thanks for putting hopefully the final nail in the Chargers coffin.
Steelers 33 Patriots 10
The Steelers play some serious D. With that offensive line though I think they can be exposed. Titans match up with them really well.
Broncos 34 Jets 17
Hey wait I thought the Jets were now the kings of the Afc? Can anyone put a finger on the Broncos?
Chiefs 20 Raiders 13
Double yawn
Vikings 34 Bears 14
Pretty impressive win. Bears are looking bad as of late.
Texans 30 Jags 17
Maybe Williams with #1 pick was not so bad of a choice? I'd give my left nut for the Titans to get Andre Johnson.
Tuesday, November 25, 2008
Nfl Recap Week 12
Wow the Titans got d slapped. I knew it was only a matter of time before they loss. I wasnt expecting a perfect regular season. They are still about 3 to 4 games better than I was hoping so far. Lets get started.
Steelers 27 Bengals 10
A solid win for the Steelers. Their "D" is looking pretty good.
Texans 16 Browns 6
A road win for the Texans is pretty rare. Brady Quinn looked pretty bad. Andre Johnson is one bad man. Too bad he's on such a sucky team. Imagine if he had a pro bowler throwing to him.
Cowboys 35 49ers 22
Are the Boys back? Romo to T.O. looked pretty lethal. Good test for them this coming Sunday.
Bucs 38 Lions 20
And the first pick of the draft goes the Detroit Lions select.......
Jets 34 Titans 13
What an ass kicking. Mangenious came up with the perfect game plan. Those quick short passes nullified the pass rush. Usually Fisher comes up with some kind of adjustments during half time but not this time. Of course the Titans also had some bad penalties, dropped passes and a costly fumble. Luckily they have the Lions coming up to take out their anger on.
Bills 54 Chiefs 31
Give up 54 points? I thought Herm once said "you play to win the game"!
Bears 27 Rams 3
It looks like Haslett might not be the answer either.
Patriots 48 Dolphins 28
Entertaining game for most of the day. Cassel's learning the art of throwing it up to Moss.
Vikings 30 Jaguars 12
It puts a little smile on my face to see the Jags geet toasted again.
Ravens 36 Eagles 7
Mr "I didnt know there could be ties" and no clock management in the biggest game of your life, Mcnabb was benched in the loss. Ravens are starting to build some momentum.
Raiders 31 Broncos 10
The Afc West is f-ing pathetic.
Falcons 45 Panthers 28
Panthers looking like pretenders like I predicted.
Giants 37 Cardinals 29
The G-men are the best team in football. To win this game without your best receiver and running back is huge.
Redskins 20 Seahawks 17
An important win for the Skins.
Colts 23 Chargers 20
Dammit Chargers. The one time I didnt want yall to win. Colts are going to be scary in the playoffs.
Saints 51 Packers 29
The Saints took the pack out to the woodshed. Brees for Mvp is not dead yet.

NFL Recap Week 11
Im still in shock my team is undefeated. I still dont think they will go undefeated but they are slowly making me more and more of a believer.
Jets 34 Patriots 31
Huge win for the Jets even though Cassel broke an NFl record. Bretts playing about as well as I expected but the defense is playing much better than I anticipated.
Broncos 24 Falcons 20
Huge win for the Broncos. They beat a good Atlanta team on the road. If there defense keeps playing this solid they could be a playoff force.
Eagles 13 Bengals 13
Embarassing. Whats even more embarassing is Mcnabb admitting he didnt know you could end up in a tie.
Packers 37 Bears 3
The Packs offense were on a roll. They did anything they wanted to against the defense.
Colts 33 Texans 27
I never wanted to utter this phrase this late in the season. "Manning and the Colts are now on a roll." Dammit.
Saints 30 Chiefs 20
The Saints keep their faint playoff hopes alive with a decent win over an improving Chiefs team.
Dolphins 17 Raiders 15
A little bit closer than I was expecting but Pennington got it done in the clutch.
Giants 30 Ravens 10
Damn those Giants are good. The team that the Titans should be scared of playing. And Eli is not even playing that good.
Bucs 19 Vikings 13
Another big victory for the Bucs. Its getting to be crunch time.
Panthers 31 Lions 22
Well the Lions were the Lions once again. Culpepper just needs to hit the retirement home again. The Panthers might be the shittiest 8-2 team Ive ever seen.
49ers 35 Rams 16
Big victory for coordinator Martz against his old team. Hill might be the answer for the 49ers at qb.
Cardinals 26 Seahawks 20
Warner might be the MVP. He's playing that good. It also helps when you have two all pro receivers to throw to.
Titans 24 Jaguars 14
Pfew. I was scared at halftime. Then the big hogs saddled up, dominated the line and Kerry threw some awesome TD passes. For once the receivers stepped up when they needed to. Thats two weeks in a row they had to pass and they got it done. This Sunday I hope they rattle Brett into another classic 3 interception game.
Steelers 11 Chargers 10
I was hoping this was the final nail in the Chargers coffin but in that shitty division they are still in the playoff mix. The Steelers line is horrendous. I cant wait for the Titans to take them on.
Cowboys 14 Redskins 10
Huge win for the Cowboys. They didnt look pretty doing it but they got er done. Not sure if it was all the boys doing or the choking on part of the Redskins. Tony I need your analysis.
Browns 29 Bills 27
I guessed right. The Bills were pretenders all along. A great 56 yd field goal by Phil Dawson to win the game. Hey Tony do you still have Phil Dawson's shoes?

Nfl Recap Week 9
Another wild weekend of football. Even though my team benefitted from it there were two more games decided by the coin flip in overtime. Both the Titans and Bucs won on the first drive that way. Fucking ridiculous rule.
Jets 26 Buffalo 17
The Bills are crumbling just as I predicted. The Jets D bailed Brett out.
Bears 27 Lions 23
Huge blow to the Bears that Ortons out. He was playing great football and now Grossman is in next week against the Titans :-)
Bengals 21 Jags 19
Dont really care that the win helped the Bengals but im glad they probably made the knockout blow to the Jags playoff chances.
Ravens 37 Browns 27
Flacco is looking better each week and the Ravens could do some damage in the playoffs. Damn why couldnt Titans have kept Mason.
Titans 19 Packers 16
A hard fought victory for the Titans. Kerry once again was clutch with the final drive and overtime. Chris Johnson and Lendale White (man im always tempted to say old school Oiler player Lorenzo White) were once again money. Hmm I wonder who their first loss will be against.
Bucs 30 Chiefs 27
Biggest comeback in Bucs history. Ive always liked watching Garcia. He plays so scrappy and better than what he looks like he should.
Cardinals 34 Rams 13
Another great game from Kurt Warner. If they can play some defense they might (doubtful) make some noise in the playoffs.
Vikings 28 Texans 21
Gus Ferotte once again getting er done and the Texans once again becoming the Texans.
Dolphins 26 Broncos 17
No more calling upset when the Dolphins win. They are a good team. Pennington was a perfect fit for this offense.
Falcons 24 Raiders 0
Wow the Raiders offense is fucking bad. Jamarcus Russell might be a bigger bust than Ryan Leaf.
Giants 35 Cowboys 14
I wont say much about this game. I'll let Tony in the comments give his take on the game. All Im going to say is that Ive watched the Cowboys for about 18 years now and this is one of the worst losses ( considering talent, expectations, etc...) that Ive ever seen.
Eagles 26 Seahawks 7
Each week the Eagles are getting better. Watch out if Mcnabb and Westbrook are fully healthy come playoff time
Colts 18 Patriots 15
Damn I wanted this to be the knock out blow for the Colts. No matter how bad they look now I just know when it comes playoff time if they make it, they can beat almost anyone.
Steelers 23 Redskins 6
A great victory for the Steelers but at what a might price. Can Leftwich keep the boat afloat until Big Ben gets healthy? Great defense and they still scare me if the Titans have to face them in the playoffs.

Nfl Recap Week 8
Titans 31 Colts 21
For the first 2 1/2 quarters the Titans looked like shit. Their rush defense was gashed, the offensive line while it did protect Kerry, they didnt open up many holes for the running backs. Then all of a sudden a switch was turned on and they scored 25 straight points. Even though there were drops Kerry made some terrific throws and lead them to several scoring drives. Both White and Chris Johnson made great touchdown runs. The Colts are just in disarray. Yeah the played inspired for most of the game but they just dont look the same. Im just estatic that the Titans for the first time I can ever remember have a great secondary. If you would have told me at the beginning of the season that after game 7, the Titans would have a 4 game lead in the division, I would have called the looney bin to come pick you up. It would take a colossal fuck up to not make the playoffs which was all I was hoping for. If your team only allows two sacks (thats given up in one quarter for the Steelers) after 7 games then you should be close to a perfect record. Im happy but not totally satisfied.
Cowboys 13 Bucs 9
Looks like the Cowboys D showed up when it had to. They still need to do something about the quarterback position till Romo is back. Old country BJ won but didnt look good in the process.Redskins 25 Lions 17
Another solid game from the Redskins but it was only the Lions. Santana Moss if having a terrific season.
Dolphins 25 Bills 16
How many times do the Dolphins have to win against teams to no longer qualify as an upset? Chad Pennington is playing pretty damn good.
Patriots 23 Rams 16
Patriots pulled out a squeeker. The Rams are definitely playing better under Haslett.
Saints 37 Chargers 32
Drew Brees once again played mvp type football. They could be real dangerous if there defense ever rounds into form. The England chaps got to see a good game.
Jets 28 Chiefs 24
Brett is still gunslinging and barely got away with it this time. The Jets are in trouble if they arent more consistent in their offense.
Eagles 27 Falcons 14
Westbrook was back to his old form. One of the most underrated players in the Nfl.
Panthers 27 Cardinals 23
Just when the Cards have a chance to make a national statement they once again become the Cards.
Ravens 29 Raiders 10
What a beautiful pass and catch from Troy Smith to Flacco. Ravens are heading in the right direction.
Browns 23 Jags 17
Thank you Browns. I guess Derek Anderson isnt through quite yet. Man if the Jags cant run they just fall apart.
Giants 21 Steelers 14
Should have been 28 points but the Giants were screwed on that goal line call. They punched them in the mouth and got the win. Very impressive.
Seahawks 34 49ers 13
Yawn. The best thing about this game was Singletary's press conference afterwards.

Nfl Recap Week 7
What another wild weekend. Just when you think teams are ready to step up (Chargers, Cowboys, Saints, Colts) they just falter. It probably helps my team is 6-0 but so far this is one of the best seasons Ive ever seen. Lets get going.
Bills 23 Chargers 14
Maybe I need to start paying more attention to the Bills. They still feel like to me that they could go on a 2-3 game losing streak at any time. Im happy the Chargers lost but in that shitty division they still have a chance at winning it.
Bears 48 Vikings 41
Whoa! What shitty defense and special teams play there was. Another division thats up for grabs.
Steelers 38 Bengals 10
The Steelers are so far the team I fear the most if the Titans have to play in the playoffs. Ben is a warrior, Hines Ward is ferocious and they are well coached. I dont even think Boomer in his prime could even save the Bengals.
Titans 34 Chiefs 10
I dont even know where to start on this one. Yes the Chiefs suck but the Titans O line and D line are awesome. Lendale White is proving to be a tough runner and Chris Johnson is just blazing. Best 1-2 punch in the Nfl this year so far. Haynesworth has to be leading for the defensive player of the year so far. Kerry once again was very efficient. I wonder if Vince is looking for a gun or noose about now?
Rams 34 Cowboys 14
Wow have the Boys fallen this far this fast? From my point of view Flozell Adams has been getting burned a lot recently. Is the Roy Williams experiment going to work out? Come on Tony I need your input on this one.
Ravens 27 Dolphins 13
I dont get this Ravens defense. Two weeks ago against the Titans they were awesome, then a week later against the Colts they sucked and now once again they looked solid.
Giants 29 49ers 17
After a stumble it looks like the Giants are back on track. Great all around game for the G-men.
Panthers 30 Saints 7
Talk about a defensive show. The Panthers have been on a defensive terror the last 3 games. Too bad drew cant play defense too. The Bush injury could be pretty big for this team.
Texans 28 Lions 21
Uh oh the Texans are on a 2 game winning streak. Once again Andre Johnson was the man.
Raiders 16 Jets 13
Jets are proving that they need more than just the good Brett to be competitive. I do give it to the Raiders they are at least in it almost every game.
Packers 34 Colts 14
Wow what a turn around from last week. The Colts are in such disarray. Marvin looks like he got old pretty quick. They just dont have that many healthy people to help them out. They are officially in desperation mode. Next weeks showdown with the Titans is a must win for them.
Redskins 14 Browns 11
I think the Brady Quinn chants need to start getting louder. Speaking of being a man, Portis grinded out some tough yards.
Bucs 20 Seahawks 10
Probably the most underrated team of the year is the Bucs. With Garcia playing now they can be dangerous. Their defense is playing well again under Chucky.
Patriots 41 Broncos 7
Now thats the Patriots we've been expecting. Good thing Cassell got it through his head to throw it to Moss and let him do the rest. Broncos got it handed to them.

Nfl Recap Week 6
What an amazing weekend. 5 games decided in last minute of the game or o.t. Lets start with those 5 games
Texans 29 Dolphins 28
Gutsy call on 4th and goal. If Andre Johnson was on any other team he would be a huge star. Why cant the Titans get someone like him?
Vikings 12 Lions 10
Another bad call by a ref that cost a team the game. The Vikings are just a mediocre team at best
Rams 19 Redskins 17
Embarassing loss by the Redskins. They gave this game to the Rams.
Falcons 22 Bears 20
What a great ending. Orton really thought the game was iced with his last touchdown. He was celebrating like he wont the Superbowl. Too bad his coach made a stupid decision to squib kick the kickoff and too bad Matt Ryan made a beautiful throw to set up the field goal.
Cardinals 30 Cowboys 24
Even though I was happy by the result this game had me so frustrated. Every stupid rule in the Nfl almost came into play. The Tuck rule is fucking stupid and just so subjective. Let a fumble be a fumble and get on with it. Then the Cards are penalized for a player being hurt and not getting back to the line? Finally the stupid o.t. rules of scoring first came into play. This time it worked out for the Cardinals but it would have been a different story if Cowboys would have went down and scored first. Worst fucking rule in professional sports. With those O.T. rules in place whoever has the better defense usually wins. The game should be about who has the best team not the best defense.
Colts 31 Ravens 3
Uh oh the Colts finally looked scary. Hopefully the Ravens just had a bad week.
Saints 34 Raiders 3
Looks like my preseason pick for Drew Brees for Mvp has a chance to come true. Its just the Raiders so im not too excited yet.
Jets 26 Bengals 14
Looks like Brett's got some left in the tank. The Bengals are pathetic
Bucs 27 Panthers 3
What a strange game. When Garcia is on he's on.
Jags 24 Broncos 17
Speaking of mediocre teams
Eagles 40 49ers 26
What a Jeckyl and Hyde team. Are the Eagles now the 3rd best team in their division?
Packers 27 Seahawks 17
At times Rodgers looks damn good. What a disappointment the Seahawks are.
Chargers 30 Patriots 10
Dammit. One of the few times I was rooting for the Patriots. With that crappy division the Chargers are back in the mix.

Nfl Recap Week 5
Vikings 30 Saints 27
Bush's finest day as a pro still comes with a loss. Its starting to look like my pick for the Super Bowl is looking like a bad one unless they come up with some defense sometime soon. Great win for the Vikings.
Steelers 26 Jags 21
Another hard fought win for the Steelers. Ben is an early candidate for MVP. This game put a smile on my face.
Cowboys 31 Bengals 22
The Boys come close to blowing. If a few more plays went the other way then the Bengals could have easily walked out with a W. Still not sold on the Cowboys defense.
Bears 34 Lions 7
What an ass kicking. Everytime I looked up at the screen the Bears were coming up with a big play.
Falcons 27 Packers 24
Looks like Vick going to the pound was the best thing for this franchise. Another solid game for Matt Ryan
Dolphins 17 Chargers 10
Looks like the Dolphins may not be as sucky as most originally thought. I knew they would be instantly better with Chad Pennington. Given the right system he can be an effective qb.
Giants 44 Seahawks 6
What an ass whipping. Looks like the defending champs are on a roll.
Redskins 23 Eagles 17
Never know what Eagles team is going to show up. The Redskins are looking pretty impressive.
Panthers 34 Chiefs 0
Speaking of ass beatings. The Chiefs looked like the whore down the street that was caught trying to cheat her pimp.
Titans 13 Ravens 10
Wow what a defense. This is the best secondary the Titans/Oilers have ever had since Ive been watching. Kerry looks crappy all day long and then put together an impressive drive when it mattered most. The Ravens and Ray Lewis were no joke. Easily the best defense the Titans played against all year.
Colts 31 Texans 27
Thank God im not a huge Texans fan. I'd be hanging my head with embarassment. They literally gave this game away. The Colts arent looking good but they will always be in the game with Manning at the helm.
Broncos 16 Bucs 13
The Broncos finally played some solid D. This was a huge win for them.
Cardinals 41 Bills 17
Another solid performance from the Jeckyl and Hyde Cardinals
Patriots 31 49ers 21
Either Cassell might be better than most people think or Belichik really is a great coach. I think more of the former than the latter.
Tribute to the Redskins solid play of late

Nfl Recap Week 4
Jaguars 30 Texans 27
This is the perfect instance why I fucking hate the Nfl overtime rules. Worst rule in all of professional sports. I think it will take the superbowl ending this way for the rules committee to do something about it.
Panthers 24 Falcons 9
Young Matt Ryan got some more growing to do. Steve Smith is back!
Chiefs 33 Broncos 19
Damn I knew the Broncos D was bad but I didnt know this bad. I dont know if theres anything they can do to help them out if they make it to the playoffs.
Saints 31 49ers 17
Drew Brees can flat out play. Another awesome performance. The D finally played a little better.
Jets 56 Cardinals 35
Brett the Jet was on fire. To be honest I think I could have thrown a few touchdowns against that Cardinals Defense.
Browns 20 Bengals 12
Yawn. Who cares besides Ocho Cinco.
Titans 30 Vikings 17
Hell yes, I loved this game. Peterson is a monster but they held him pretty much in check. Every week the defense is getting better and better. I just hope they dont peak too soon. Vince should be getting nervous right about now.
Bucs 30 Packers 21
Chucky and the boys did it again. Looks like Rodgers is not an iron man like Favre.
Bills 31 Rams 14
Dammit Rams yall had me excited when you took the lead.
Chargers 28 Raiders 18
Another game I was excited about when I saw the scoreboard read Raiders 15 Chargers 0.
Redskins 26 Cowboys 24
Looks like things might start being shaky with T.O. and the Boys. I knew it was only a matter of time till it started. Ill be happy to drive the bus to Dallas that T.O. will eventually throw Romo under.
Bears 24 Eagles 20
Great home performance from the Bears. Orton proving to be a solid game manager.
Tuesday, September 23, 2008

NFL Recap Week 3
Bucs 27 Bears 24
Griese got the job done. Are the Bucs than most people think?
Titans 31 Texans 12
Woo hoo first place in Afc South by two whole games. Damn that defense is friggin awesome. Finnegan was once again playing smothering defense. Houston needs to go ahead and start Sage. They need to do something fast.
Vikings 20 Panthers 10
Damn the Panthers were disappointing. Ferotte did a solid job managing the game for the Vikings.
Falcons 38 Chiefs 14
The Chiefs need to go ahead and start scouting to see who they will get for the #1 draft pick next year. Matt Ryan looks like the real deal for the Falcons.
Bills 24 Raiders 23
They almost pulled off the upset. Once again Trent Edwards led the Bills back in the 4th quarter. Oakland almost made me happy.
Giants 26 Bengals 23
Eli once again proved big when it counts. At least the Bengals showed some sign of life.
Redskins 24 Cardinals 17
The best division in football keeps on proving it. Campbell is growing before our eyes.
Dolphins 38 Patriots 13
Belichik outcoached? Say it aint so. I was grinning ear to ear. Amazing performance from the Dolphins coaching staff and Ronnie Brown.
49ers 31 Lions 13
Once again the Lions were underachievers. O' Sullivan is looking pretty sharp.
Seahawks 37 Rams 13
Seahawks got the right team at the right time. Lets see if they can build on from that win.
Broncos 34 Saints 32
Damn this game hurt me the most. I bet Grammatica has already started packing his bags. Saints need to find a way to win these type of games. Once again the Broncos offense was awesome and their defense sucks.
Eagles 15 Steelers 6
If that O-line's not fixed, Roethlisberger is in for a long season or a short trip to the infirmary.
Eagles are showing some moxy.
Jags 23 Colts 21
This was the best scenario for the Titans. Now they are officially two games up in the division. Im no longer scared of either team.
Ravens 28 Browns 10
Yawn. Wake me when the Ravesns finally play a good team.
Cowboys 27 Packers 16
Looks like the Cowboys have a rookie running sensation of their own. Great play even with T.O. being shut down.
Chargers 48 Jets 29
Fuck. Damn I hate the Chargers. The one game I was rooting for the Jets. Hopefully those two losses still end up hurting the Chargers in the long run.
